. . . when I was exposed to Hatsumi and the Bujinkan I started connecting some dots that had been floating around in my head. I DID notice sometimes that abandoning something for a time almost matured it upon the return, weeks, even years later. Now I have certainly confirmed for myself that leaving something and moving on, and returning later to it, can do magic in the subconscious mind that gels a flow together, puts together micro muscle coordination (read; jiu jutsu precision and accuracy/efficiency in finding the lock), and can generate powerful fighting rythm.
